Process monitoring


In this article, we will introduce you to the running progress monitoring feature. 

  • If a software being monitored is inactive or stopped in the iRender remote server, a notification will be sent to you that the progress has been stopped. Our system will notify you via your email address and also on your phone (In case your phone has the iRender mobile app installed). 
  • You are allowed to control the process monitoring feature by the iRender console or iRender Helpdesk.

To enable the process monitoring feature:

1. Open the application iRender Helpdesk » Process monitoring tab

The iRender Helpdesk is available on every iRender remote server.

2. Add processes (software or applications) to the monitor list

Search for software or application » click on the “+” icon » click the “Add selected process to monitoring list” button 

If the 3D software being monitored is inactive or stopped in the iRender remote server, a notification will be sent to you that the progress has been stopped. Our system will notify you via your email address and also on your phone (In case your phone has the iRender mobile app installed). 

You will receive a notification with the following content:

Note
For each shutdown, the system will delete all tracked processes. You need to add processes (software or applications) to the monitor list for the next boot/session.

To disable the process monitoring feature:

In the iRender Helpdesk app, disable the toggle as shown below.

In the iRender console, disable the toggle as shown below.
