Fixed rental


The fixed rental feature is highly recommended when you have huge projects that require days, weeks, or even months to complete. Especially, this feature enables you to save your money significantly, with a discount of up to 20% compared to hourly rental.

We offer the following Fixed rental period options: 

  • 3 hours: you will rent iRender server continuously for 3 hours (discount of up to 6%) (only 3S package).
  • 6 hours: you will rent iRender server continuously for 6 hours (discount of up to 8%).
  • Day: you will rent iRender server continuously for 24 hours (discount of up to 10%).
  • Week: you will rent iRender server continuously for 7 days (discount of up to 20%).
  • Month: you will rent iRender server continuously for 30 days (discount of up to 20%).

Note
Kindly be noted that the fixed rental feature is not for accumulation of time using, but for a certain period of time that your machine will run nonstop. You will need to pay iRp (Primary points) before using this service.

Tip
Suppose your project is estimated to take 8 hours to complete. To optimize costs, you should be Fixed rental for 6 hours and set “Keep the machine running” after the Fixed rental expires.

To use the fixed rental feature

1. Open the iRender dashboard at https://app.gpuhub.net/. 

2. In the navigation pane, choose GPUHub. For example, we choose GPUHub.

3. On the GPUHub page, choose Fixed rental. 

  • In Create new image popup, click Continue.
  • In the list of server packages, select one.
  • Fill in some information including Rental period (by day/week/month), Number of machines.
  • Then create a new image as described following the instruction here.

Another way to use the fixed rental feature for a single existing image:

  • Choose the 3-line menu icon in the top-right corner of the selected image screen.
  • Select Fixed rental and then Continue.
  • Fill in some information including Rental period (by 6 hours/day/week/month)
  • Choose Shut down machine or Keep machine running here, or follow the instructions below.
  • Choose CONFIRM FIXED RENTAL.

Note
You will need to pay first at the moment you click “CONFIRM FIXED RENTAL”.

Machine settings after the end of the fixed rental period

1. Shut down the machine

Choose the 3-line menu icon on the right corner of the image fixed rental » choose Settings » the Fixed rental settings box appears » choose Shut down machine.

2. Keep the machine running

Choose the 3-line menu icon on the right corner of the image fixed rental » choose Settings » the Fixed rental settings box appears » choose Keep machine running.

Note
When the machine keeps running after the fixed rental period expires, at that point, our system will start charging you based on the hourly plan.

Renewal the fixed rental period

You can extend the machine for a specific period after the fixed rental period expires or during the fixed rental time.

Choose the 3-line menu icon on the right corner of the image fixed rental » choose Renewal » the Fixed rental renewal box appears » fill in the rental period in days/weeks/months and its number » choose CONFIRM FIXED RENTAL.

Deactivate the fixed rental

In case you want to rent the machine by the hour after the fixed rental period expires, please Deactivate the fixed rental.
